At the outset of any new business venture it is imperative to keep costs as low as you can, while creating a structure which offers as much as possible to the end customer. This can often be very difficult in the early days with little funding available, a haze of offerings being aimed at your business and little time to really think some of the longer term issues through. Many people tend to go for the cheapest hosting service when starting a business, but is this the right path in the long term?

While many people look at private servers and baulk at the price of some of these services, compared to some of the cheaper services, they do offer a whole lot more functionality, confidence and support - something which is vital for any business to succeed. The last thing you want to do is spend days trying to resolve your hosting issues, you want to make a quick call and get your host to sort the problem as soon as possible.

The best hosting services do cost a little extra, but do you really want to go through the whole issue of transferring hosts on a number of occasions, and the risk involved in each move? While a private server may not be the best and most affordable option from day one, as soon as you get the impression that your business could be successful, it is something you should think about.

Proactive not reactive, this is the way forward!
